In recent years, with the wave of Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing sweeping the manufacturing industry, F Company has significantly improved production and logistics efficiency through the large-scale application of automated equipment in its digital smart factory. Unmanned stacker forklifts play a key role in internal logistics, handling the precise movement and docking of pallets and cable reels.

Project Challenge: Accurate Recognition and Handling Operations in Complex Environments
In F Company's smart factory, the placement angles and positions of pallets and cable reels are often irregular, posing significant challenges to the precise recognition and docking capabilities of unmanned stacker forklifts. Additionally, the internal logistics environment is complex, requiring the equipment to operate in dynamically changing scenarios, avoiding low obstacles while ensuring safe operations at the stacker forklift's height of 2.2 meters, thus ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Solution: MRDVS's 3D Visual Pallet Recognition, Obstacle Avoidance, and Overhead Navigation System
To address these complex logistics challenges, F Company's unmanned stacker forklifts are equipped with MRDVS's pallet recognition system, 3D visual obstacle avoidance solution, and V-series overhead navigation system, ensuring the precision and safety of each handling operation.
1. Pallet and Cable Reel Recognition
Using MRDVS's PalletPro pallet recognition system, the unmanned stacker forklifts can capture the depth information of pallets and cable reels in real-time, ensuring accurate recognition of their position and orientation even when the pallets are irregularly placed. When the stacker forklift approaches the pallet to within about 200mm, the system automatically adjusts its position to ensure precise docking with the pallet. With this system, the stacker forklifts complete 500 docking, handling, and stacking tasks daily, significantly improving overall handling efficiency.


2.3D Vision Obstacle Avoidance Solution
F Company's stacker forklifts and underride AGVs have adopted MRDVS's 3D vision obstacle avoidance solution. Whether it is a low-profile underride AGV or a 2.2-meter-high stacker forklift, the system can effectively identify low or suspended obstacles and maintain stable operation of the equipment in complex scenarios. With 3D vision, the equipment can adjust in real-time in dynamic environments, ensuring safe and smooth handling processes. Whether in narrow aisles or open warehouse areas, the stacker forklifts can efficiently perform tasks.
3. Overhead Navigation System
To ensure precise navigation, F Company's stacker forklifts are equipped with MRDVS's V-series overhead navigation system. This system achieves high-precision positioning by capturing natural features of ceilings and walls, ensuring stable operation of the equipment within the complex layout of the factory. The overhead navigation system is not only suitable for complex scenarios with multiple vehicles operating in parallel but also has high-precision positioning capabilities. On average, each stacker forklift travels nearly 10 kilometers daily, with 18 stacker forklifts accumulating a total of 50,000 kilometers, seamlessly supporting all-weather logistics operations.
